Sooke, BC • Portraits of Lianne
As much as I love candid photography, portraits are a lot of fun! Our beautiful Lianne and I took to Sooke, BC, and surroundings to capture some beautiful, floral, Spring portraits.
We began in the backyard on a bed of moss. It thrills me when the subject of the session will lay down on anything for a dreamy, portrait. Lianne was a perfect example of that model, her electric energy provided light.
The sun poked it’s head through some clouds and lit our backyard session. In great Sooke fashion, it began the rain when we moved locations. We found warmth above the towering rocks and under the canopy at Sooke Pot Holes. As the river cascaded, as did we, finding sweet little spots for more photos.
The portraits were easily captured, we developed a great bond through the lens. We continued to the lodge, where the graffiti-inspired some colorful portraits.
All in all, what an amazing day!
I welcome anyone to come to me with another refreshing photo opportunity like this!
